The First Workshop on Use of Seaweeds in Agriculture will be composed by 4 work sessions.
The participants will meet together over a one-day period to concentrate on the rational use of seaweeds in agriculture.
The Workshop will allow a preliminary discussion of issues to determine common research points. Seven experts, selected to represent a balance of different interests, will meet for Workshop.

14:00 Mr. Jeferson Rosano de Alencar (M.Sc.; CCB/UFSC): Culture de la macroalgue Ulva lactuca L. (Chlorophyta) intégré à la production de la crovette blanche du Pacifique, Litopenaeus vannamei (Boone, 1931), pour traiter des effluents par un système fermé de recirculation.
